Bremerton Embassy - OK

Last night Nassau West President Kelly K. Bartram announced that although direct contact with the Ambassadors at the Nassau West Bremerton (WA) Embassy has not been made, contact was made with Nassau West Seattle Embassy Ambassador Andrea Brown.

According to President Bartram, Ambassador Brown confirmed that status of the Bremerton Embassy and its inhabitants as being just fine and stable. Apparently, both Embassies have had internet-related problems lately which has made contact rather difficult, as most contact is made via email.

Bartram said that he had gotten concerned about the Bremerton Embassy after many weeks had gone by with no contact. "Up until tonight, I didn't have a phone number to get through to the Bremerton Embassy. I have the number now, and I will be placing a call very soon to the Embassy," said Bartram.

Tonight's call to the Seattle Embassy was the last step on the way to dispatching the National Emergency Rescue Service (NERS). Bartram stated last week that if contact was not made with either the Bremerton Embassy or the Seattle Embassy by last Friday, the NERS would be called in.

The President delayed sending in the NERS because of budget-related concerns, and the exact location of the nomadic Bremerton Embassy is not known, which would have made rescue operations extremely difficult. President Bartram, Secretary of State Wayland Bartram and Nassau West Tucson Embassy Ambassador Sara Bartram are all happy to hear about the well-being of the Bremerton Embassy staff.
