Let's Get You Up-to-Date
OK. Where do we start? Hmm. Quite the conundrum, indeed. Let's see ... I had my arraignment in Nassau West Superior Court on Saturday, July 22, at 9 PM, as promised. I plead not guilty/not responsible. Days before this case, I sent in $108 of my $540 fine from Bisbee Justice Court in regards to my disorderly conduct charge in Tombstone.
We've had some rather peculiar weather here in Benson. I've had to don a jacket on a few occasions, as the temperature has dropped into the sixties more than once recently. The buckets of rain have done wonders for my yard. My desert landscape has become a veritable jungle of green grass. Damn!
The recent weather has wreaked havoc on the Copper Creek Recreation Area, as well as the Copper Creek Bridge, which had its footing washed away in one recent storm. That footing, on the Capitol side of the bridge, has since been rebuilt with concrete and block. It isn't going anywhere now!
The Nassau West Department of Administration (DOA) has ordered your favorite Webmaster to close down multiple Web sites, in order to bring expenses under control. As a result, very soon my bar Web site will be relocated to a sub-section of this Web site, as will my Tombstone Web site.
My newest venture, with my friend and former Tombstone Ambassador Carey Granger, will likely either be shut down, or relocated with the others to kbartram.com. There are some issues that have to be dealt with before the Tombstone Web sites can be altered.
Let's see ... in other news, this past Saturday (7/29) I went to Tombstone for the first time in several weeks to check my post office box. Just junk mail - and lots of it - bastards! I was scheduled to go there, check my mail, have one Dave's Electric Beer, and return home. It's never that easy, is it?!
No, apparently not. I checked my mail and then went to the Dragoon Saloon for my Dave's Electric Beer. Much to my dismay, they no longer serve it - on tap or in bottles! Shit! So, I settled for a Japanese Beer, I think it was called Kirin Ichiban. It was OK, but certainly no Dave's.
At this point, I decided I wanted to get a room and stay. The Nassau West Department of State was kind enough to remind me of the current economic and diplomatic sanctions being levied against Tombstone, and denied my request. I came home shortly thereafter.
On Sunday, I made a set of copper wind chimes. They're cool. They go along nicely with my new fence, yard lighting, and the fountain/waterfall I'm working on in the Copper Creek Recreation Area. That's about it for now.
